Beaumont Farmers Market
Research & Development Leader
Over the summer, Beaumont Famers Market was a client that sought out a social media campaigns to increase engagement virtually and physically along with rebranding themselves. While monitoring physical guest traffic and analyzing the targeted demographic being reached, I found there to be a disconnect between Beaumont locals and the Farmers Market. As a result, I created a video to be published on their website and Facebook to be shared to showcase vendors and the diverse product mix.
Harvest House
Project Manager
For Strategic Social Media, my peers and I selected Harvest House to be our client. Our mission was to build a social media strategy and campaign to spread awareness of the dangers of child sex trafficking in Southeast Texas. My role was to delegate tasks, implement creative concepts for engagement, and provide sound deadlines through open communication channels between our client, my peers, and our instructor. As a result, we were able to garner a 20% increase in followers across all platforms and increase donors by 10%.

In the wake of an active LGBTQIA movement and "cancel culture," I was inspired to analyze communication trends and strategies retail companies utilize to be impactful and inclusive to their target audience.
With social media being both a form of retribution and encouragement, companies are seeking ways to communicate effectively to LGBTQIA audiences, while making a profit.
